Shepherds Pie is a favorite of ours at mealtime. It’s a flavorful way to add vegetables when vegetables are definitely not the favorite around here (my kids would LIVE on carbs alone if we let them….). This Shepherds Pie recipe is easy and easy to throw together on a weeknight. Partially because we use instant potatoes…because who has time to boil potatoes and mash them on a school night…? Also, if you’re not a fan of garlic (is there actually such a thing as too much garlic? Asking for a friend…), you can substitute the bag of potatoes for any flavor you prefer.
